Comprehensive Contract Review:
In my first 90 days in office, I will conduct an in-depth audit of all city contracts. No new contracts will be signed until this audit is completed, ensuring accountability and transparency. Any contracts involving Jared Charles Mats or his entities will be immediately canceled.

Addressing the Nightlife Issue:
The rapid growth of nightclubs in Miami Beach has become a concern for our neighborhoods. I will take immediate action to address this issue, closing establishments that disrupt the quality of life for residents and negatively impact the community.

Enhancing Year-Round Tourism:
I will create a dedicated team of city employees focused on attracting conventions and fostering year-round tourism. This will diversify our economy, create jobs, and maintain Miami Beach’s reputation as a premier global destination.

Streamlining City Operations:
I will thoroughly investigate all city departments to ensure efficiency and accountability. Any discrepancies will be handled by the appropriate authorities, including the State of Florida, to maintain integrity in city operations.

Open and Fair Contracting Process:
All canceled contracts will be subject to open bidding, ensuring fairness and equal opportunity for all vendors. My administration will operate without favoritism, providing a transparent process that benefits the entire community.

Beautifying Miami Beach:
My administration will prioritize beautifying our city, starting with Alton Road and key tourist areas. We will bring back the vibrant decorations and festive atmosphere that make Miami Beach a unique and welcoming place. Under my leadership, the city will be revitalized with a fresh and attractive aesthetic.

Protecting and Increasing Property Values:
I am committed to raising property values throughout Miami Beach by addressing poorly maintained properties that affect surrounding neighborhoods. Any property that negatively impacts the community will be properly dealt with—whether through repairs, assistance, or demolition—ensuring our city remains a desirable place to live and invest.

Prioritizing Public Health and Safety:
I will take decisive action to remove unauthorized EMF antennas and high-voltage lines that jeopardize the health and safety of our residents. My administration will work to protect the well-being of our community by eliminating these harmful elements from our environment.

Modernizing Public Transportation:
We propose an update to the city’s Fleet Management by integrating Tesla electric vehicles (EVs) into daily operations. For departments such as code enforcement and street parking, we will incorporate single-motor EVs, optimizing efficiency and reducing costs. The police department will benefit from dual-motor and triple-motor Tesla models, ideal for operations within city limits. Additionally, the fire department will explore the use of a Tesla truck prototype, potentially repurposed as an ambulance or for carrying equipment.
This initiative will significantly reduce the city's operational costs related to fuel while ensuring that the EV fleet remains low-maintenance and durable over time. Tesla vehicles are known for their longevity and, should any repairs be necessary, they will be covered under warranty.
This transition is just the beginning. While several departments will eventually be converted to electric vehicles, we are prioritizing those that currently represent the highest expenses. This will ensure a reduction in operational costs without imposing additional tax burdens on our residents.
I will replace the current trolley system with state-of-the-art electric buses to reduce pollution and improve air quality for residents. This will ensure cleaner, safer transportation while providing healthier living conditions for our community.

Citywide Clean-Up Initiative:

I will launch a comprehensive citywide clean-up initiative, beginning in tourist areas and expanding into residential zones. This effort will enhance property values and ensure that Miami Beach remains clean, vibrant, and inviting for everyone.

Restoring the City’s Holiday Charm:

I will reinstate the beautiful holiday decorations that have long been a hallmark of Miami Beach. Unlike the current administration, which failed to maintain this tradition, I will work to make our city shine during the festive season, attracting visitors and spreading holiday cheer.

Flood Prevention and Infrastructure Upgrades:

To address flooding in residential areas, I will implement a plan to improve drainage systems and ensure proper water flow. This initiative will safeguard homes, vehicles, and businesses from flooding, protecting property values and ensuring safety for all.

I will issue an Executive Order making Jared Charles Mats persona non grata in Miami Beach. Any violation of this order will result in severe consequences, including jail time and significant fines for trespassing.

EMF Radiation Monitoring and Enforcement:

I will work with code compliance officers to acquire advanced technology for detecting and removing unauthorized EMF antennas. My administration will implement 24/7 monitoring to ensure the safety and health of our residents, free from harmful radiation.

Strengthening Health and Safety in Dining Establishments:

A dedicated task force will be established to inspect food and beverage establishments, including bakeries and coffee shops. This initiative will restore confidence in Miami Beach’s dining scene, ensuring that residents and visitors can enjoy high-quality food and drink at all hours.

Ensuring Safety at Public Events:

I will prioritize safety by establishing secure zones at public events, equipped with metal detectors to ensure a gun-free environment. While I support responsible gun ownership, my focus will be on creating safe and enjoyable events for everyone.

A Balanced Approach to Cannabis Reform:

My administration will implement sensible cannabis policies that allow responsible use while ensuring that individuals are not unfairly persecuted. I am committed to restoring the “Island Vibe” that has been missing, making Miami Beach a welcoming place for all.

Integration of Artificial Intelligence:

Under my administration, we will prioritize the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance the tools available to our city employees, ultimately delivering superior service to both residents and businesses in Miami Beach. We will develop an innovative AI-powered reporting system that streamlines city operations and improves efficiency.

For instance, if a property owner notices a broken sprinkler, our AI-driven city app will allow them to take a photo and instantly report the issue. The system will not only notify the appropriate department but also dispatch an AI response team to address the concern promptly.

For after-hours incidents, the system will automatically communicate with department heads and supervisors via email and text, ensuring that immediate action can be taken to resolve the situation. This approach will significantly reduce operational costs, improve communication, and create a more coordinated system for managing the daily workload across various city teams.

Together, these advancements will ensure a more efficient, responsive, and cost-effective Miami Beach for all.

Parking Permit Zones:

Under my administration, we will improve the management of parking permit zones by evaluating and making necessary adjustments. This includes adding new zones where needed and removing outdated or unnecessary ones, such as Zone 26. Our goal is to ensure that parking policies are efficient, effective, and serve the needs of our residents, while eliminating any unnecessary burdens on the community.

EVs 

My administration will address the increasing use of electric vehicles (EVs) such as EV skateboards, EV scooters, and EV bikes & 1 wheel EVs. These vehicles are an excellent solution for moving from point A to point B, and I have noticed their growing presence over the past two years. While I fully support EV solutions for daily transportation, there is a significant concern when these vehicles are used on the streets without proper licensing and safety equipment.

My administration will take action to ensure that our streets are safe for everyone, regardless of the type of vehicle they are driving. On numerous occasions, I have witnessed accidents involving EV scooters, particularly when riders ignore traffic laws or fail to adhere to safety standards. I have personally seen how some EV scooter owners get frustrated with vehicles on the road, even though those vehicles are properly registered and insured.

We will work to implement regulations that ensure all road users are safe, creating a safer environment for everyone on our streets.

Under my administration, we will focus on revitalizing and enhancing the resources already available within the city, starting with updating the city app. This update will make events more informative and interactive, ensuring that residents and visitors can easily access important details in real-time.

Key areas of focus will include:

• Convention Area: We will provide updated event schedules, interactive maps, and more detailed event descriptions to help attendees navigate and enjoy their experiences.
• Jackie Gleason Theater: Enhancements will focus on providing seamless access to event information, ticket purchasing, and behind-the-scenes insights for theatergoers.
• Ocean Drive & Bandshell Events: We’ll increase engagement by offering more dynamic, real-time updates, notifications, and ways for attendees to interact during events, creating a richer experience for everyone.

Our goal is to transform and elevate these areas into even more vibrant, engaging, and user-friendly destinations, providing unforgettable experiences for both locals and visitors alike. With these changes, the city will thrive, offering an enhanced cultural and entertainment landscape for all.

Under my administration, we will prioritize the safety, cleanliness, and aesthetic appeal of our beaches by enhancing the infrastructure at lifeguard stations and introducing modern equipment for both safety and cleanliness.

 Our goals include:

Enhanced Equipment for Lifeguards: Lifeguards will be provided with state-of-the-art tools and technology to ensure quick, effective responses in emergencies.

Heavy Equipment for Beach Cleaning: To maintain a pristine environment, we will introduce heavy-duty cleaning equipment to be used early in the morning, ensuring that our beaches are spotless and visually appealing when people arrive.

Regular Maintenance & Cleanliness: We will establish a consistent cleaning routine to keep beach areas and lifeguard stations well-maintained and welcoming, providing an inviting atmosphere for residents and visitors.

Safety Upgrades: Improved signage, lifeguard training, and enhanced safety protocols will help ensure a safe experience for everyone.
